My Students
Ah, Oh! Someone's had an accident! Unfortunately they don't have any clothes to change into.
There are 18 energetic three and four-year-old children in my class.
Our school includes students from Pre-K through eighth grade. It is in a high poverty area, and about 95% of the students in the school receive free lunch. Our school is in a low-income neighborhood, where budget cuts have left no hope that materials will be purchased in the near future.
My Project
There are always accidents happening in a Pre-K classroom. Sometimes it is a bathroom accident, or a spill during a meal or even an encounter with too much paint at the easel. I will use the sweatpants, sweatshirts and polo shirts to ensure each of my students has clothes to change into.
Having a change of clothes is a life essential to a Pre-K Student, but some of the families do not have extra clothes to send into school. The clothes I am requesting will provide them with these clothes. We need sweatpants, sweatshirts and polo shirts to change into when they have one of the many accidents that happen in Pre-K.
Every child deserves to have clean clothes for school and at home.
This project will help me provide a set of clothes to stay in school so my pre-kindergarten students will always be clean and healthy.
