Pre-K is Playing to Learn!

My students need hands-on educational games that reinforce their knowledge of letters, numbers, shapes and patterns for their learning centers.

My Students

In my class, I believe in education through play. These supplies will allow my students to express themselves and their learning through creativity and play.

My students come from many diverse backgrounds and speak many different languages but they all share a love for learning.

Our school is of the highest poverty level with over 90% of our students eligible for free lunch. They are enthusiastic about learning and love to explore and show what they know through play and creativity. Educational games will allow all of my students, including my non-English speakers, to practice the skills they learned in class while having fun.

My Project

My students spend about 2 hours of their school day in learning centers exploring games, puzzles, blocks and more. It is important that this time is spent reinforcing the fundamental skills they have learned in class while keeping their interest. These hands-on and fun games make learning seem like playing and will create a more meaningful center time for my students. The Hot Dots games are a fun way for students to learn and practice shapes, patterns, numbers, letters and more!

Being able to provide my students with fun and interactive games to promote their learning of numbers and letters would greatly help prepare them for Kindergarten.

I am always looking for ways to keep my students engaged and excited while practicing important skills that ensure their Kindergarten readiness and I believe the Hot Dots games will do the trick!
