My Students
I am the movement teacher in a new Pre-K Center in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. For many of my students, this is their first time in a school setting and I want to foster an environment of curiosity, creativity, movement, and fun!
Through the use of multiple stations incorporating different materials, my goal is for these little ones to develop a love for learning through collaboration and creative movement that will follow them for years to come!
Help us get moving!
My Project
Purchasing scooters for my pre-k movement classes will help give my students the opportunity to engage in beneficial play. It is a chance for them to create and transform their own ideas into endless movement opportunities. Propelling a small board on wheels and controlling the speed and direction are exciting and great fun.
Playing on scooters benefits children in many ways.
It can give children many opportunities to explore various ways to move their bodies. It is a wonderful way to experience free play in a non-intimidating environment while conditioning their bodies. Scooter activities also offer children many opportunities to work in groups and learn how to communicate and solve problems!
