This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each year we end it by celebrating our students and their families. This year, we want to make it DAZZLE & SPARKLE! We want each child to have the pleasure of creating their own wearable art for our "Pre-K Social & our Moving Up Ceremony". We decorate our spaces with balloons and a photo center (the Preschool backdrop) to provide a space for families to capture those special moments. The Tulle, hair bows, elastic bands, bow ties, fabric adhesive and the Rhinestones kits are to help us create some amazing wearable art using just plain white T-shirts as our canvases for these activities. We are using the snacks and fidgit toys for their TO GO baggies after the events.

More often than not, many of our parents are still struggling and we want to ensure that all of our precious little preschoolers get the opportunity, to share their voices, their dreams, and have essential/ genuine learning experiences through art that they can create and wear proudly all Summer long.
