This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will be used in a pre-k classroom. Pre-k is the first building block of formal education and the first experiences of the classroom for both parents and students. Dramatic Play is one of the centers that we have in our pre-k co-teach classroom and it is one of the most popular centers. In dramatic play students often see items that are in their daily lives.

It is never too early to start learning about money and finances.

In pre-k that is seen a little differently but they are going to show this through play. With the lemonade stand the goal is for students to run the stand and have other peers support their business. The piggy bank will be used to talk about how money can be saved and used for future wants.
