My Project

Our incredible pre-K learners have the opportunity to develop their skills through play and direct instruction during our full day program. In our classroom our students are working on social emotional skills such as self-regulation, problem solving, turn taking and naming emotions as well as developing fine and gross motor skills and academic skills such as letter recognitions, number recognition and increasing vocabulary and background knowledge. We base our lessons on the Connecticut Early Learning Standards and strive to implement daily lessons and activities covering the eight domains of learning.

The Fairy Tales Problem Solving STEM Kits, a laminator, a Gingerbread Man Problem Solving STEM kit will help engage our students in play and conversations centering on social-emotional learning.
