This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in pre-k learn best through exploration and hands on activities. In order to support my student I collect data through informal observations. The iPad allow me to be mobile while observing my students during their activities. I will also be able to use the mobile app on our classroom iPad that our curriculum uses to track student data by taking pictures that correspond with specific pre-k guidelines. Using the apple pencil will also allow me to quickly write notes down while observing my students instead of having to type. Ultimately maximizing my instructional time.
This iPad will give my classroom the tools to effectively collect student data and use that data to provide efficient interventions to meet the needs of all the students.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
