Our students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are our inspiration!
Our school is located in West Harlem (Title I district).
Our student population is diverse and includes Hispanic, African American, Caucasian, Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian), Biracial, ENL (English as a New Language), an IEP (Individualized Education Program) students. Diversity within our school is something we embrace and nurture.
My Project
As this year is coming to an end, I am trying to think ahead. Our Pre-K students are always exploring and learning through building. Last year we even made a house out of cardboard! We love being able to foster their love for creativity by providing them with an assortment of interesting materials.
I feel it would be great to have Gigantic Magnetiles for our students to utilize that will help foster exploration and growth.
With your help, my students will be able to have beautiful new supplies for the coming school year. Fingers crossed we are all able to be back together this fall. Thank you so much!
