it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My project is to help students maintain a healthy mindset while learning mathematic algorithm's and concepts.
It is important for students to have an outlet that will help them continue to love Mathematics while learning the rigors of being problem solvers.
Having the simple back to school supplies ready for students, such erasers, highlighters, construction paper, and crayons, makes a very large difference in the stress level that students encounter when they lack basic school supplies. With a chair at a center the students will be able to sit comfortably and finish the tasks set in class. For those students that finish all assignments, it is nice to have coloring books and games that help them stay in a relaxed mindset. Seeing my students being successful is always an ultimate goal in class. I know my students will greatly appreciate any items they receive and will use them to their fullest extent. I too will be extremely grateful to share these items with many of my students that struggle with having the items during the course of the year.
