As a Family and Consumer Science teacher I hear all too often "why don't they teach life skills in school" older generations who had programs cut while they were in school. When I tell them what I teach they are amazed at the level of culinary skills my high school students are able to achieve. All I can tell them is that I am amazed with my students and their hunger (no pun intended) for higher and higher level skills in the kitchen. One of our standards is focused around teaching various cooking methods. Unfortunately there are many we cannot practice and only talk about due to the lack of materials. In the absence of grills to practice grilling with we would love these grill pans.
