Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a wonderful group of Kindergarteners who come from diverse backgrounds. My students attend a title 1 school in San Diego. Due to the pandemic, our class has been distance learning since August. My students are so eager to learn and continuously amaze me with their ability to learn through Zoom. I would love to bring them more hands on experiences during our distance learning.
My Project
Our school has been distance learning since August and I would love to provide all my new Kindergarten students with some familiar tools they would normally get in school. My students are in need of materials and tools they can use at home to help aid their learning. These dry erase writing pads will help my students practice printing letters and numbers with a marker. My students will be able to practice printing their letters and numbers during their asynchronous study time. These writing tools will provide students with the correct printing of letters and numbers.
