My Project

I am requesting decodable books for kindergarten, first, and second-grade classrooms. The books for kindergarten and first are for use in the classroom. First-grade books will be utilized for partner reading. Second-grade books will be added to their take-home collection for families to borrow.

Beginning readers need a lot of practice to retain new skills.

When the books are engaging students are more likely to read them. The books I selected are perfect for our students. The books for kindergarten are the perfect length for emerging readers. The books for first grade have engaging topics that will appeal to them. The books for second grade are early graphic novels which will be ideal for the first half of the school year.
