This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The lined dry erase boards will help the students learn how to write correctly. It will also help them practice their spelling words and learn how to write their first and last name correctly. The dot markers will allow the students to enjoy using their learning activities. It will let them have fun while they are learning.
1st grade students always love to work with and use materials that are not the everyday required materials.
In all the years I have been teaching, the students enjoy writing with "makers" and learning from fun materials. They tend to remember more when using materials that are different.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
