My Students
Augusta Elementary students are very proud of our athletic heritage in our small town. Friday night lights on the field and in the gym!
Our students start young with aspirations of playing on the field and the court.
They participate in Pee Wee football and basketball. We offer quality programs for our young athletes with practice built in to our regular school day to ensure all students have equal access as some of our students are bused 45 miles.
Our goal is to inspire them to explore their athletic abilities and physical fitness! Better equipment can only enhance our current program!
My Project
Our students come from two small rural towns with very little to offer in student experiences, so when I say school sports are a big deal, I mean it! Our towns really turn out to watch their children and grandchildren play! We focus on sportsmanship on and off the field and court. We are passionate about our boys and girls teams! We have onsite programs that offer all students a chance to participate in basketball and football. It is our hopes to inspire them to play, learn about teamwork, and sportsmanship!
