This school year I will be starting a new adventure. I will be a Resource Teacher for grades K-2. Specifically, I will be working with the lowest struggling students in ELA and math.
I am so excited about this position because these kids are so gritty and hungry for knowledge!
They will work hard and persevere even though it is difficult because they know they aren't in it alone and together we will get there.
My Project
I teach small groups of students in three separate grade levels all day long. I need materials that are easily portable and usable for everyone. The dry erase boards are magnetic, perfect for identifying letters, building words and word work with a class set of magnetic letters.
Many students require hands-on materials to help them learn when they are already behind and struggling.
The board is 2-sided with handwriting lines on one of the sides. Many of my struggling students need the extra support of handwriting lines. The boards can be used for reading or math intervention and are extremely versatile. My students need as much extra practice and support as they can get and I want to be able to provide them with the best materials to get the job done.
