Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a diverse group of learners. They bring their personalities, strengths and areas in which they need support into our classroom activities. We are a group of 20 students and each student benefits from independent review and practice of our daily lessons. They are able to use these practice journals and practice at their own pace.
My students' needs vary widely and the ability to review and practice our daily lessons is fundamental to their growth and progress.
Providing them with individual practice journals will foster their ability to monitor their areas of strength and where they need more review. These journals will allow the students time to "show what they know" and it will provide a great foundation for future lessons where I see the need.
