My Students

My students are wonderful children! Our school is in an urban area and most students qualify for free lunch. They come from many different home situations that are sometimes difficult for them and can cause challenges in the school setting.

My students are eager to learn despite their circumstances and inspiring when they choose to overcome and excel.

My students are special and deserve the best that I can get for them in order to help them meet their goals.

My Project

The materials will help my students by giving them a way to engage their parents and families in what they are learning in school. It is often difficult to get parents involved in the students' school work and homework because they learned concepts differently and don't quite understand what the student is working on. These materials will help the student be able to engage their parent by helping them to teach their parents what they learned at school. It will get the parents connected to the classroom in a way that they weren't before. They will be able to learn and understand what their child is learning everyday.
