Hi! I am Mrs. Babineaux, and I teach a fantastic group of 5th and 6th-grade students at a Title 1 school in Louisiana. My classroom is full of heart, humor, and hard work, but we need the essentials to help us start the school year strong.
While we focus on reading, writing, and growing in confidence as learners, some of the biggest classroom wins occur because we have the necessary resources (such as paper, pencils, folders, dry-erase markers, and disinfecting wipes).
My students are brilliant and determined, and they deserve a space that is clean, organized, and stocked with the basic tools that help them succeed. Many of our families are already doing the best they can, and being able to provide supplies in our room makes a world of difference.
