it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students generally come from low-income families that live around the school neighborhood located in City Heights, San Diego. Most of my students are African Americans and Latinos, followed by students from the Pacific Islands or Asian backgrounds. Our school is a unique place. The school has a great percentage of students with special needs. Therefore, our school needs to be equipped with technological devices, lab tools and materials, and other resources that would guarantee that all students have what they need to learn and succeed adequately.
We need your contribution in order to provide our classroom with 5 sets of Engino Discovering STEM Mechanics Pulley Drives Construction Kit.
Our students would enjoy learning about Newton's Law of Inertia, Momentum, and kinetic and potential energy with this engaging set.
My Project
My students will use Engino Discovering STEM Mechanics Pulley Drives Construction Kit in order to understand the concepts of Inertia, Momentum, potential and kinetic energy. The Engino STEM sets provide for several hands-on activities that students would enjoy as they assemble the solar panels, building blocks, cords and screws together.
As students build and design catapults, pulleys, bridges, Merry-Go-Around, among other creations, they will also put into practice the concepts of inertia, momentum, kinetic and potential energy.
I believe that Engino Discovering STEM kits are ideal for learning, specially when it comes to engaging students in activities that they would really love doing.
