My Project
Our online school serves a diverse group of middle school students, including many from low-income families. To promote in-person socialization, we want to encourage students to meet each other and participate in our events.
To ensure our Bluetooth computer mice can enhance online learning next year, we now need 400 AAA batteries.
We are grateful for the generous support we received for our previous DonorsChoose project, which provided these mice for our students. If fully funded, this project would provide each student two batteries to get started, then an additional two batteries to keep as a backup. We plan to give away these computer mice at our first in-person event, along with a flyer promoting future events. By drawing students to our first event with a free giveaway, we hope they will gain the information needed to attend future events and connect with peers in person. This will enhance their social and emotional learning. Many families may not be able to purchase the batteries necessary to operate the mice. Your support will help us entice attendance and foster a sense of community among our students.
