Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students rely on communication devices—specifically iPads—to help them express themselves and interact with their peers and teachers. For some, these devices are essential tools for their daily learning, enabling them to engage in lessons, complete assignments, and develop social skills.
Unfortunately, devices like iPads are only useful if they have power.
Without functioning chargers and long-lasting batteries, students can quickly lose access to these critical tools. Without the proper chargers or replacements, students may struggle to stay engaged in their learning or miss out on key opportunities to practice their communication skills.
By providing the necessary chargers and batteries, I can ensure that these devices are always ready for use. This is especially important in a setting where technology is not just a convenience, but a lifeline to communication and learning. With fully charged devices, my students can fully participate in classroom activities, access educational apps, and continue building the skills they need to thrive in both school and life.
They deserve every opportunity to succeed, and these resources would go a long way in helping them do just that.
