My Project
My fourth graders are learning about the Holocaust, and they will have a better understanding of the topic by reading interesting historical fiction chapter books. I am requesting several powerful books about the topic, including several biographies of Anne Frank, as well as picture books to make the topic accessible for struggling readers. I'd like multiple copies of each title so each class can have two copies for the kids to read and share. I think these classic books will really help my students gain a better understanding of the tragic and horrifying events of the Holocaust, from the points of view of the victims and the survivors.
