This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are leaders, athletes, and mental health advocates who care deeply about creating a supportive and inclusive school environment. Many of them come from underrepresented communities and face challenges accessing tools that allow them to thrive—yet they consistently show up with drive, creativity, and compassion for others.

With a MacBook Pro, my students will design wellness-focused activities that combine physical movement and mental health—such as student-led fitness plans, mindfulness exercises, digital storytelling projects, and campaigns that promote emotional well-being.

They’ll use the MacBook to create videos, flyers, and social media content to motivate their peers and normalize conversations around stress, anxiety, and self-care through sports and exercise.

This project directly supports racial justice by ensuring students from underserved backgrounds have access to powerful tools that help them lead, heal, and grow. With your support, they’ll gain the tech resources they need to promote fitness, emotional balance, and representation through every project they take on.
