This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The upcoming 1st grade students are entering into a new environment that has a lot more experiences and skills that they will be learning in the 2025-2026 school year. Fostering a place to share their emotions and to express themselves with different activities and to communicate and solve their problems. Furthermore, recess equipment like balls for outdoor play time as well a few more books in the reading center.

Nonetheless, building a solid foundation for reading readiness and writing on grade level for a successful academic career.

With the skill building center, chair pockets, floor cushions and other resources students will continue to practice on the skills learned that year. Helping students feel confident in learning.
