Help me give my students drone batteries so that they can have more flight time to learn how to fly the drones.

My Students
These are interesting times we live in. Our students have been doing an amazing job of learning in a virtual environment since August. They are strong thinkers and are excited about learning. They have made huge strides in learning new technology and how to use that technology to express their thinking and understanding of the world around them.
STEM is a powerful motivator that can create interest for students who might not have been interested previously.
Introducing robotics and drones to kids at a relatively early age can expose them to possible career paths in the area of STEM. The STEM field is a wide open market, and exposure to practical programming such as drones, can help to motivate students and give them a focus as they move through school.
My Project
My students use the drones as a practical way to begin learning coding. Students create code that allows the drones to take off, fly a given pattern or route, and land. As the students become more skilled, they take on more and more difficult challenges as they program the drones to complete autonomous flight patterns. For example, students start off by learning the basics of programing a simple take off, move a certain distance and then landing. Next the progress into taking off from a given small take off zone, and landing in a small landing zone a given distance away. They use trial and error to accomplish the tasks, but learn to take in factors such as the wind in making their programs. This gives students exposure to many other possible future STEM careers that involve such programming for autonomous robots and drones. Students are quite excited to participate and it is a high motivator for the students.
