My Project
Chargers allow students to keep their devices powered all day. This lets them learn digitally, conduct research, and complete assignments without interruptions. Stylus pens lets students take notes, highlight text, and draw diagrams easily.
With a stylus, students express their creativity through art, design, and presentations.
This flexibility lets them explore new ideas and develop artistic skills. A stylus allows students to write and organize their notes digitally. It improves comprehension and retention, as they can easily edit, rearrange, and highlight important information. Stylus can provide alternative methods for engagement for students with diverse learning needs. It can make learning accessible, allowing all students to participate fully in classroom activities.
Chargers and stylus make lessons engaging and provide collaboration in real-time, where ideas and resources are shared seamlessly. Snacks are a great motivator and help to create community.
This project encompasses cultural representation and challenges stereotypes. Students watch, read, and analyze several speeches, focusing on themes, messages, and rhetorical techniques used by the speakers to convey the importance of diverse narratives. Students use their knowledge from these speeches to create art, graphic designs, or interactive presentations to reflect knowledge. Students use iPads as we are a sustainable school whose mission is to help students leave behind a negative carbon footprint.
Our classroom includes students with Arabic, Haitian, Hispanic, and Caribbean backgrounds. Each student brings unique perspectives and experiences that enrich our learning. They are multilingual, demonstrating language skills reflecting their heritage and adaptability.
Despite economic and reading challenges, these students are determined. They participate in class discussions, collaborate with peers, and seek help when needed. They overcome obstacles, showcasing resilience and a strong desire to improve their literacy and academic skills. They are capable learners and inspiring individuals who strive to achieve their goals while positively impacting their communities.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
