Power Up Learning: A Charging Cart for Our Classroom Tech
Help me give my students a Chromebook charging cart to ensure over 80 learners have reliable, charged, and safely stored devices to support their education.

My Project
In my 6th grade classroom, technology is essential for engaging students and enhancing their learning experience. Currently, my students bring their Chromebooks home each day to complete assignments, but many of them don’t have the opportunity to charge their devices at home due to financial constraints. As a result, they often arrive at school with uncharged or damaged devices, making it difficult for them to fully participate in lessons. That’s why I’m requesting a Chromebook charging cart to ensure that our devices are fully charged, securely stored, and ready for use each day. This cart will allow us to streamline our tech usage, save valuable instructional time, and reduce interruptions caused by technology issues.
A charging cart will make a significant difference in my student’s learning by ensuring that they have reliable access to fully charged devices in a safe and organized way.
With this cart, we can avoid the complications that arise from damaged or dead Chromebooks, allowing students to focus on their lessons and projects without the distractions of technology failures. The cart will serve over 80 students, helping them consistently access digital resources, complete online assignments, and collaborate with their peers.
My students are special because they come from diverse backgrounds, often facing challenges outside of the classroom. Despite this, they are curious, hardworking, and eager to learn. This project will provide them with the tools they need to stay on track and succeed, creating a more efficient and supportive classroom environment. By funding this charging cart, you’ll be directly helping these students overcome barriers to learning and empowering them with the technology they need to thrive.
