Power Up Learning: a Charging Cart for Classroom Success

Help me give my students a Chromebook charging cart to ensure they have access to fully charged devices, enhancing their ability to engage in digital learning, complete assignments, and participate in collaborative activities without interruptions.

My Project

I love my students because each one is unique, hardworking, and striving to do their best every day. I teach high school students with special needs in a Learning Strategies class. My students are resilient and determined, even when faced with challenges. They inspire me daily with their creativity, perseverance, and desire to succeed. My ultimate goal is to help them graduate high school and become productive, independent citizens who confidently take on the future.

To achieve this, my students need access to technology for activities that support their academic growth and life skills.

We complete assignments that improve reading, writing, problem-solving, and career readiness. These activities require consistent access to charged Chromebooks. Unfortunately, charging devices has become a challenge in our classroom, leading to interruptions and lost learning time.

A Chromebook charging cart will help ensure every student always has a fully charged device, allowing them to focus on learning without worrying about technical setbacks. With reliable access to charged devices, my students can stay engaged, meet their goals, and work toward becoming confident learners and future leaders.

My students are special because they approach each day with determination and heart. They may learn differently, but they never give up. This project will empower them with the tools they need to continue their educational journey with confidence and success.
