This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an English teacher, I am passionate about creating an engaging, technology-friendly classroom where my 9th-grade students can thrive. Every day, I see the potential in my students to grow as critical thinkers, creative writers, and thoughtful communicators. To support their learning journey, I am raising funds to provide essential tech resources: backup Chromebook chargers, headphones, extended surge protectors, and charging stations.

These items will make a significant difference in our daily classroom experience.

Backup Chromebook chargers ensure that no student misses out on learning due to a dead battery. Headphones will allow students to fully engage with digital lessons, audiobooks, and videos without distractions. Extended surge protectors will keep our classroom safe and organized, preventing tripping hazards while ensuring all devices are powered. Charging stations will create a designated area for devices, helping students stay organized and ready for learning.

My goal with this project is to remove barriers to learning and create a classroom environment where every student has the tools they need to succeed. These resources will support not only their academic growth but also their ability to manage their learning independently—an essential skill for success in high school and beyond.

What makes my students special is their eagerness to learn and their resilience. Many of them come from diverse backgrounds and face unique challenges, yet they show up every day ready to engage and excel. By supporting this project, you are directly impacting their ability to achieve their fullest potential.
