My Project
Our band program is in need of a Yamaha YBS-480 Intermediate Eb Baritone Saxophone to give our aspiring low-register players an instrument that’s built to last and performs beautifully. The YBS-480 is renowned for its precise intonation, smooth keywork, and rich, full-bodied tone—qualities that will allow students to develop proper technique, blend seamlessly within the ensemble, and explore the unique role of the baritone sax in jazz, concert band, and small ensembles.
Our current baritone saxophone shortage keeps talented students sidelined and waiting for parts.
As a high-price-ticket item that every well-rounded band program requires, a quality baritone sax is essential to providing equitable access and comprehensive ensemble experiences. Without this dedicated instrument, our students miss out on critical low-end support, sectional rehearsals, and solo opportunities that build confidence and musicianship.
