My Students
Our school community celebrates diversity, encourages compassion and empathy, and pushes children to see their potential and worth. My classroom is inclusive to all types of learners. Each student in our classroom has their own story and their own set of challenges. We—students, families, and teacher—work together to embrace these challenges, learn from them and how to use them as a learning advantage rather than a disadvantage.
No matter what they face, where they've come from, or what challenges await, my students' perseverance shines through and their passion for learning makes them unstoppable.
It's that drive and dedication that inspire me to rise to the occasion for them each day.
In our classroom, everyone is a student and everyone is a teacher.
My Project
Our class needs 2 power strips to allow students to plug in their Chromebooks. Students are able to learn, practice, and create with Chromebooks at their fingertips. At the end of the day, the devices need to be charged so our students can hit the ground running the next day without having to worry about battery life.
My friends and family are working to build a charging and storage unit to hold all the Chromebooks for our class, but we need power strips to plug each device into so they aren't scattered around the room at various outlets.
This will then allow students to easily access their device, rather than search around the room to find which outlet they plugged their device into the day before.
