My Project
Power-Packed Presentations with Poster Paper is a project designed to give high school juniors hands-on experience in brainstorming, idea collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Imagine the power of students that demonstrate skills in collaboration, persuasion, and presentation!
The sticky poster paper is a key component of this project, as students will work in small groups to get their ideas written down. Students will then tear off their poster paper and stick it to the walls in the classroom for presentation. With multiple sheets in each sticky poster paper pad, we will be able to use this instructional strategy with all of the 120 students in my classes. I have just finished my second year of using these poster paper pads to teach persuasion, and it is a hit with my students (it has also proven to be a successful strategy for developing mastery of persuasion).
