Power Bites: Fuel for School

Help me give my students snacks to help them stay energized and focused throughout the day, especially between meals.

My Project

All of the items requested will meet the needs of middle schoolers needing a boost of motivation to keep going. My students want to do well, but the energy level is often low, and that has a negative impact progress day to day.

85% of my students come to school hungry and don't eat a nutritious lunch, making it hard for them to concentrate, learn, and succeed.

A simple snack can make a huge difference—it fuels their minds, boosts energy, and shows them someone cares. It's a small cost with a big impact on their education and well-being.

A few candy items are used for rewards, and testing incentives. A single piece of candy and make a student smile and give a little bit more effort to carry on.

We are responsible for cleaning our own space, and with food comes more mess. The swifter pad refills will be used for the classroom mops we have for students to clean at the end of the day.
