My Project

I am requesting plaster materials to give my elementary students a hands-on, engaging opportunity to explore the world of sculpture. Many of my students have limited access to art supplies outside of school, and working with plaster offers a unique sensory and creative experience that goes beyond drawing or painting. It allows them to experiment with form, texture, and structure—helping them understand that art can be built, molded, and transformed. This tactile process is especially valuable for young learners, as it supports fine motor development, spatial thinking, and creative confidence.
