My Project
Birthdays are a big deal in my classroom because I believe every child deserves to feel celebrated on their special day. Sadly, not all students get the blessing of having their birthday acknowledged at home, and I want to change that, at least while they’re with me. I’m creating birthday cups filled with small, joyful items: a plastic cup with a lid, a mini stuffed animal, a birthday bracelet, a pencil, a sticker pack, and a snap bracelet. These cups are more than just fun; they’re a way to show my students they are seen, valued, and loved. I’ve learned that even the smallest gestures can have a huge impact on a child’s sense of belonging. Your support will help me ensure that every student gets to feel that spark of joy and recognition on their birthday. Thank you for helping me bring a little extra light into their lives.
