Pouches, Pencils, and Passion

Help me give my students everyday supplies for the classroom. Each student will need their own personal binder with pencils, a pencil pouch, and notecards to feel successful in the classroom.

My Project

I absolutely love how enthusiastic, curious, and determined my 5th and 6th grade band students are. They come to class excited to learn, ready to make music, and full of questions about how to improve. Many of them are learning to read music and play an instrument for the first time, and their growth each week is inspiring.

The binders and pencil pouches will help them stay organized, which is especially important as they juggle music, notes, and rehearsal expectations.

Pencils are essential for marking music during rehearsals—something we do often to reinforce learning and encourage thoughtful practice. The flash cards will support their music literacy, helping students master notes, rhythms, and symbols in a fun, engaging way. Each of these items will directly support their learning and success in band, both in the classroom and at home.
