This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year one student in this classroom is working very hard on potty training. We take regular bathroom breaks throughout the day, praise her efforts, and encourage her progress. I have reached out to the family requesting pull-ups in addition to the one she wears to school each morning, and baby wipes, but unfortunately, her family is having difficulty providing the materials she needs to stay dry throughout the day and into her extended day program. The items in this project will provide this student with pull-ups for potty training, baby wipes for cleaning, and waste bags for soiled pull-ups.

Your donation today can help this child become successful with her potty training efforts, and help her stay warm, clean, and dry throughout her day, afternoon, and evening-- at school and in her extended day program.

These supplies will help make sure she does not miss any time in her classroom lessons to wait for dry clean clothing to arrive at school when she has soiled the pull up she wears when she arrived at school early in the morning. It will help her maintain a routine schedule with all of her peers, and it will give her the opportunity to participate fully and successfully in all of her regularly scheduled classroom lessons.
