Pottery Tools for All Learners

Help me give my students a variety of ceramics tools to aid in their throwing and hand building processes to create contemporary functional forms.

My Project

During the covid-19 pandemic my ceramic students did not have access to current ceramic industry level supplies. They were bound to their homes and limited to their crafting ingenuity and kitchen utensils. Upon returning to traditional schooling, all students are re-engaging in the creative process. This creative process allows all students to connect their kinesthetic and sensory knowledge while gaining confidence and artistic voice. To support their development and individual journeys towards mental stability and stamina, these supplies are requested: hump/slump molds, wedging/work boards, throwing and trimming tools and kiln stilts. All of these tools will connect both 3D visual arts ideation and production for my students.
