My Project
I am an art teacher in a small, rural south Georgia school. Our school and students face economic challenges daily due to the lack of job opportunities and income coming into our community. We are requesting Terra-cotta flower pots for our art classes. These will be painted and decorated in the art room. In collaboration with our STEM class, we will plant 🌺 flowers in them for our Spring projects. Our goal for this project is to provide hands-on learning experiences in gardening as well as an “art with a purpose” activity for their creative side. Bloom where you are planted!
