it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 24 energetic students come from very diverse households. They struggle with life challenges at home and sometimes in school as well. After not being in school and staying at home for so long, their social and emotional well-being has been challenging. At our school, we are a PBIS school. We follow the Cougar Code of being safe, responsible, and respectful.
Every time they follow this code, they get rewarded with Cougar Cash.
They are then able to use this Cougar Cash to buy things from our class store. Having this variety of choices to purchase from will help motivate the kids to show these key characteristics for their social and emotional well being. Showing respect and responsibility are key in social and emotional well-being and help them understand how to navigate in their community and life.
