At PHES, we have eager, energetic, and kind students in rural Nevada who come from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic homes. COVID has impacted all of our students in different ways, but through it all, their resilience has shown through. It has been a mission at PHES to promote kindness in all situations, and we see this every day in our students, during both digital and in-home learning. The joy on our students' faces, simply because they are back in school, is contagious.
My Project
In order for students to succeed at their highest potential, they need adequate visual aids for both remote and in-person learning. A poster machine would allow teachers and staff to create large, visual imagery for students and parents alike to use as resources.
With a poster machine available, teachers could create visual aids to support interactive writing and shared reading.
They could display shared visions and unpack the standards in addition to posting learning goals and exemplars. Having a Canon poster machine would enhance student learning in all settings.
