This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A poster maker will continue to enhance the print-rich classrooms that we strive to create. The classroom is a place where our students really enjoy having meaningful print on the wall that enhances their learning! All of the posters will be created with our students in mind and will focus on their learning. This will help them with working independently. Students use the posters as a third teacher when working in groups. This is a resource students can use to work independently or in academic teams.

With the ability to produce posters, our students will be able to access information that will allow them to work independently at their own grade level.

The best way to increase student agency is to provide opportunities for students to work independently, and this tool will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
