My Project

This equity focused project is designed to provide my students with a classroom environment that affirms their identity. As they look around around the classroom they will see and read a variety of quotes that reminds them of their greatness. Even when students are distracted, they should be able to look around at something that reminds them to remain determined to reach their short and long term goals.

Establishing a classroom that is socially, emotionally and culturally relevant means creating a space that makes each and every student feel welcomed and valued as soon as they enter into your space.

This project will support positive student interactions and make students comfortable enough to share their own voices.
