My Project

Welcome to our class of eager learners who love to stop and jot during reading and revise their writing with post its! While reading, 2nd graders are always jotting down the beginning, middle and end of stories, connections to text, predictions and wonderings. During writing, 2nd graders use post its to revise their writing by adding details, showing not telling feelings and sharp pencils are key to being able to write all these post its!

2nd graders love, love, love stickers!

Stickers provide students with positive motivation, reinforcement and confidence. Colorful, large, graphic stickers create a fun environment in the classroom. Smiles are on the faces of all students when stickers are given out!

The laminator will be a great addition to the classroom because we will be able to laminate student work, student charts and any materials that need to be used over and over again. Index cards are a great resource for sight word practice and math facts.
