Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Giving students interactive activities can sometimes leave a teacher scratching their head not knowing what to do. I'm interested in finding funding for my students to receive small 3X3 and large poster size post its to help in this task.
My middle schoolers come to school with a lot of energy and sometimes don't know what to do with it all.
I'd love to give them more opportunities to get up out of their seats and learn.
No matter the size of the post it, teachers can use the post its to help them create small, yet effective, ways of helping students stay on task and ensure effective teaching strategies like gallery walks, jigsaw, graffiti activity, etc. Students wouldn't get out of their seats to participate in the activities listed above, but they would be moving and working with a purpose.
Learning is collaborative and using the small and large post its will help my students move around to see work their classmates produce during class time.
