My Students

My students are smart, creative, kind, and happy. My students are in that unique stage between elementary and middle school. They are trying to figure out what direction their lives are headed in at the same time as finding their own voice in the large and loud world.

My favorite thing about our students is how strongly their compassion and desire to learn shine through every day.

We are a largely middle-class school, and our rigorous curriculum standards demand an unrelenting pace and focus from our students every day. We have high expectations, and, to their credit, our students rise to meet those expectations every day!

My Project

As students start the year off it is had to make the switch from running around all summer to sitting class. The items within this donation will give my students tools to help them transition from home to school in a positive and fun way.

I want to help my students discover multiple way to learn.

6th graders often start the year off with preconceived notion of what school is like and tahat they all should be able to learn the same way. That is just not the case. I believe part of my job is to helps each of my students learn as much as they can but to help them discover the way that helps them learn the best. These tools will help them learn through music, movements, tactile, and visual elements, and many more. Please help my student find their own love of learning with these tools.
