This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love working as the counselor to my elementary students. Positive adult interaction mixed with social skills to help them grow into successful humans is so important at my Title 1 building.

Having fidgets to not only reward good behavior, but also provide a coping skill is imperative.

Healthy snacks are also important, especially when they may not get the opportunity for this in their home. Students will get to choose from what you have purchased to help cope or stop their hunger to be able to focus. These items could help encourage positive coping skills and behavior and fill empty bellies for a better present and future.
