This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach an incredible group of students who are full of potential, energy, and curiosity. They come to school each day ready to learn and grow, and I want to create an environment where their positive behavior and effort are recognized and celebrated.
To encourage responsibility, kindness, participation, and focus in the classroom, we are implementing Class Dojo, a digital behavior management tool that allows students to earn points for positive behavior.
These points can then be exchanged for rewards to help motivate students to make great choices throughout the day.
With your generous support, I am seeking funding for a variety of reward items to stock our Class Dojo prize store. These rewards may include candy, snacks, stickers and fidget toys; school supplies such as fun pencils, erasers, colorful notebooks; small puzzles and games
These rewards may seem small, but to a child, they represent a moment of success, a tangible acknowledgment of their effort and behavior.
Class Dojo helps students visually track their positive actions and builds a culture of encouragement in our classroom. It teaches self regulation, goal setting, and accountability. By providing meaningful incentives, I can keep students engaged and excited about meeting their goals.
