Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Classroom light can be very harsh to the eye, and with students with disabilities, it can be very distracting. The light covers will dim the light to make it more comfortable and the designs will provide some interest in the class.
I have included an emotional check-in and an emotional chart for a Morning check-in.
I enjoy welcoming my students first thing in the morning, to get an idea of how they are feeling that day. The emotional chart is a visual support for students who are having a difficult time expressing their needs.
The Lysol wipes and spray are essential for my class. I have little ones who may explore using their hands and mouth. Unfortunately, explore their noses too. I disinfect my work tables, chairs, and materials daily to prevent illness and absences.
