Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
P.B.I.S stands for Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support. A key aspect of PBIS is focusing on more positive behaviors and less on negative behaviors. Staff members are able to give students points, however students must EARN the points. Being positive, being on time for school, being prepared and on time for class, being helpful to staff and classmates and keeping a GPA of 85% or higher are just a few of the ways students can earn and accumulate points. After earning points students will be able to purchase snacks and other items from the school store as a reward.
